After turning TRS into national party, BRS, Telangana CM KCR is still working on its expansion. From reliable sources KCR is also looking at Andhra Pradesh and he did meet a couple of politicians before announcing BRS. Looks like there is a big development coming up.
Ex-IAS officer Thota Chandrasekhar might join KCR’s BRS, is what we hear from the latest media reports. The buzz adds that if Chandrasekhar joins BRS, he might also be made the party President of Andhra affairs. Reportedly a few retired bureaucrats are also in talks to join BRS and Chandrasekhar is said to be negotiating the discussion.
In the past Chandrasekhar was in the Jana Sena Party. Chief Pawan Kalyan appointed him as general secretary and in 2019, he contested as an MLA for Guntur West constituency and received 27,869 votes. Post the general elections, Chandrasekhar has been staying inactive in politics.
KCR believes that Chandrasekhar’s experience would help BRS penetrate in AP but the impact cannot be estimated.
