Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy has high regards for TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and so unlike other politicians Revanth doesn’t criticise his ex-boss. But in a first he issued a negative statement against Chandrababu Naidu and that is noteworthy.
Going into details, Revanth will soon kick-start ‘Hath Se Hath Jodo’ paadayatra in Telangana against the BRS government. “Between 1999 and 2004 in TDP’s regime and Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Minister, erstwhile Andhra Pradesh had gone through severe drought and power crisis. Welfare schemes were neglected and people had suffered a lot. Seeing this YS Rajasekhar Reddy went on a Paadayatra from Chevella and Congress formed the next government. In the Congress regime, farmers were given free electricity and loans were waived off,” said Revanth.
Highlighting Naidu’s governance, Revanth added that the current situation in Telangana reflects the time of 2003. “Hath Se Hath Jodo yatra is only to know the problems being faced by the people in the BRS government. Farmers’ loans are not waived off while farmers are committing suicides at other end. Unemployment is a serious issue while the Fallow land issue is yet to be resolved. Dharani portal complicated the things further. Overall it’s a crisis situation in Telangana,” mentioned Revanth.
The T-PCC chief revealed that he would commence his Hath Se Hath Jodo yatra from MLA Seethakka’s constituency Mulugu who works tirelessly for the people who voted for her.
This is the first time Revanth made a negative remark against Chandrababu Naidu but he did not criticise the TDP chief. Revanth only pointed out the failures of Naidu’s governance and government.
