Ex-Congress Leader Claims ‘LTTE Prabhakaran Still Alive’

Back in 2009, the Srilankan Government claimed that they have killed the rebel leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, who has found LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) in a bid to create a new Tamil country within the Sri Lankan island for all the discriminated Tamilans there. And 14 years later, a Congress leader claimed that he was still alive. Here’s the big story that is breaking right now.

At the age of 54, Prabhakaran was shot dead in an encounter by the Srilankan army after global powers labelled LTTE as a terror outfit that is responsible for many high-profile killings including the assassination of India’s most loved Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi in 1991 through a suicide bomber. Today at a press meet, World Tamil Confederation leader, former politician and ex-Congressman Pazha Nedumaran claimed that Prabhakaran is still alive and healthy, and will come out open at the right time.

The recent developments of civil war and the uprising of the Rajapaksa government have led to a disastrous situation in Sri Lanka. On that note, this declaration about the arrival of Prabhakaran is a shocker for sure. But the thing to be found is, why is Prabhakaran not in the news or made any announcement in the last 14 years about being alive? Or is this just Goebbel’s propaganda to revive LTTE on the island? Only time will reveal.
