Komatireddy predicts Congress – BRS alliance

Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy raked up a new debate in Telangana politics with his comments. Komatireddy predicted that Telangana CM KCR will be left with no other option rather than to forge an alliance with the Congress.

“BRS and Congress are secular parties and KCR will have no choice post the Assembly elections because there will be A Hung Assembly. No party will get majority mandate and KCR will have to team up with us instead of the BJP,” said the Bhongir MP.

On the Telangana Congress, Komatireddy added that the party’s graph is going upwards. “The Congress high command should keep the seniors and juniors aside and give tickets to only those who can win the elections. T-Congress will contest the elections alone but post poll alliance is inevitable,” added Komatireddy.

These statements from Komatireddy have gone viral and brought more trouble for T-Congress. “Congress will not ally with any party. In fact Congress is the only alternative to BRS in Telangana. Some leaders are unnecessarily creating confusion among Congress cadre with their irresponsible statements,” reacted Congress senior leader Mallu Ravi.

BJP MP Lakshman added that BRS and Congress are one side of the same coin. “BRS and Congress will come together one day and Komatireddy’s statements are evidence of it,” said Lakshman.

The BRS reaction is still pending and we can expect it to be sharp because KCR is pretty confident of retaining power for the third time. He too is against BJP and Congress but politics are unpredictable.
