KTR Wins Public Acclaim For Arranging CPR Training

Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao is a social media hero who has a good following. He is known to address people’s grievances as and when he receives complaints online. Several people benefited by taking their issues and complaints to his notice online. KTR either addresses the complaints directly or directs the officials concerned to look into the them.

There will be only a few leaders in the country who address people’s problems online. Senior politicians do not understand that social media would benefit them in having a huge fan following among youth by being active and responsive online.

Recently, he obliged to the request of a doctor and arranged for CPR training in Hyderabad which won him much acclaim from the public. In the wake of the increasing deaths due to cardiac arrest among youngsters, the CPR training was timely and much needed. As KTR responded in the right way at the right time, he won appreciation for arranging the training.

Dr Mukherjee Madivada is one among the renowned cardiologists in Hyderabad. He tries to create awareness among netizens by making informative and descriptive videos on cardiac diseases and other heart-related ailments.

Dr Madivada made a suggestion regarding the CPR training in the wake of the rising sudden deaths due to cardiac diseases and tagged KTR to the post. Further, he mentioned that as Hyderabad was growing into a global city, there was a need to provide training in CPR to common people and also the government staff, apart from keeping CPR kits and defibrillators in public place to prevent the sudden deaths. Such facilities are available in many world-class cities, the doctor added.

Responding to the post, KTR said he would do the needful. Within a month of making the promise, he informed that CPR training classes were arranged for the government staff and the police. He also stated that the government placed order for 1,400 defibrillators and that they would be arranged at public places soon.

The quick response from KTR won him praises not just from the doctor but other netizens online. “KTR is a man of action. Other political leaders in the country should learn from him,” netizens posted.
