Let Them Arrest, I’m Prepared For Everything: YS Bhaskar Reddy

YS Bhaskar Reddy, father of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, appeared at the CBI guest house in Kadapa on Sunday to attend the investigation in the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. Bhaskar Reddy had received CBI notice to attend the investigation on 12th March, 2023. However, the CBI officials were on leave and hence Bhaskar Reddy had to return. Speaking with the media, Bhaskar Reddy stated that the matter is sub-judice and hence he doesn’t want to make any comments in addition to what his son Avinash Reddy had spoken to the media in Hyderabad.

Bhaskar Reddy said the only way to solve YS Viveka’s murder case is to investigate the letter found at the body of Viveka. Bhaskar Reddy said he is appealing to the CBI to investigate in that direction. When the media persons asked him about the reports of arrest by CBI in the case, he responded nonchalantly, “Let them do what they want to do (arrest). I’m prepared for everything.”

Bhaskar Reddy said the CBI officials are yet to give the fresh date of inquiry to appear before them. YS Avinash Reddy moved the High Court and sought stay order on his possible arrest by the CBI. Avinash Reddy appealed to the court to direct the CBI officials to video-record his examination by them. The High Court directed the CBI officials to not arrest Avinash Reddy till Monday.
