The war between the BJP and BRS is not going to slow down anytime soon. In fact, it is getting bigger and uglier with each passing day. The possible arrest of BRS MLC and KCR’s daughter Kavitha in connection with the Delhi liquor scam and her examination by ED. Meanwhile, Nirma and Raid washing detergent flexis, posters and hoardings have sprung up in Hyderabad. Ahead of Amit Shah’s visit to Hyderabad on Sunday, these unauthorised hoardings and flexis were put up in the city which became the talking point in political circles.
The posters are throwing satire that the opposition leaders who join BJP become clean and their marks get wiped out. This campaign is raising many eyeballs. The raid detergent posters featured Kalvakuntla Kavitha and it says, “True Colours Never Fade.” This is presented with the hashtag #ByeByeModi.
This is not the first time where hoardings and counter-hoarding were erected by BRS and BJP, each mocking one another. It led to the war of words earlier where finally the municipal officials swung into action and removed them. The municipal officials fined the BRS and BJP for unauthorised banners in the city.
