Prakash Raj’s Controversial Tweet On Modi

Actor Prakash Raj is raising his strong dissent against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. Prakash Raj is not leaving any stone unturned to irk the BJP leaders. After Rahul Gandhi’s conviction and sentence and subsequently lost his Lok Sabha membership, actor Prakash Raj came in support of Rahul Gandhi in his own way.

Prakash Raj took to Twitter and posted the pictures of Lalit Modi, Narendra Modi and Nirav Modi. He wrote, “General Knowledge:- What is common here #justasking” This tweet is creating tremors in political circles. Prakash Raj directly came in support of Rahul with this tweet. He is the first one among celebrities to support Rahul in the issue.

It can be noted that a Surat court convicted Rahul Gandhi in the 2019 criminal defamation case. In 2019, Rahul allegedly remarked, “how come all thieves as Modi as the common surname”. The court found Rahul guilty in the case and sentenced two years jail term.

Following this, the Lok Sabha suspended Rahul’s membership as per Section 8(3) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 which says that the moment a member of parliament is convicted of any offence and sentenced for at least two years, she or he attracts disqualification.
