The super success in the MLC polls has changed the total political scenario in Andhra Pradesh. Opposition TDP has emerged as the hot cake. It swept 3 out of 3 MLC seats in graduate MLC polls and it won the 1 MLC seat it contested in MLA quota giving a big jolt to ruling YSRCP. Thus, it indicates a huge wave towards TDP in the coming general election.
With this, several senior politicians are queuing up to meet Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh. The leaders are exploring all options and trying to get recommendations from Naidu’s close aides and media barons.
While YSRCP is still in rude shock and busy examining the MLC poll result and doing its best to keep their leaders intact, TDP already announced that several MLAs in YSRCP are in touch with them. Meanwhile, several leaders in the Congress party are set to cross over to the TDP. Congress reduced to zero after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Already, several Congress leaders have joined TDP, YSRCP and BJP. Still many Congress seniors in the party are staying away from politics. These leaders are trying their best to catch Chandrababu’s attention.
TDP is gaining muscle day-by-day in AP. Ally parties Janasena and BJP are also silent and just observing the things that are taking place at a fast pace. All roads are now leading to TDP for Naidu’s appointment. TDP is also cautiously making its moves and is double checking before giving Naidu’s appointment to any leaders.
