‘Then Lakshmi Parvathi, Now Sajjala!’

Rebel YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, who has been the harshest critic of the party, is at it again. Raju this time targeted Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy who is the Advisor to AP Government and CM YS Jagan. Raghurama Raju compared Sajjala to Lakshmi Parvathi in TDP. He cautioned CM Jagan about an impending crisis due to Sajjala in YSRCP similar to the crisis that had come in TDP due to Lakshmi Parvathi. Raghurama Raju addressed the media in New Delhi. 

“Although NTR was a good person, TDP witnessed a crisis in 1995 and the party split due to the over involvement of Lakshmi Parvathi in the party. Sajjala is making the same mistake in YCP. He is fingering so much into the party activities and leadership,” said Raghurama Raju. Raju added that Sajjala has become what Lakshmi Parvathi had become to the TDP. He asked CM Jagan to be very cautious about Sajjala and his involvement.

“Keep Sajjala aside before a revolt begins in YSRCP. If Sajjala is not kept aside, more leaders in YSRCP would leave with disappointment. Still, majority of MLAs like and believe in CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy. It is not appropriate to instruct MLAs to report to Sajjala who was an ex-employee of Sakshi,” said Raghurama Raju.

Raghurama said Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy has been a loyal man to Jagan and YCP. He said it was Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy who had resigned his MLA post and sailed with Jagan ever since he planned to launch his political party. Mekapati Goutham Reddy had been with Jagan till his last breath and supported the party. 

“Such Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy himself stated that he voted for MLC Jayamangala Venkataramana who won because of his vote. On what basis and based on what proof, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy was suspended from the party. It is shameful for Sajjala to claim internal reports without proof,” said Raghurama Raju. He added that Undavalli Sridevi and Anam Ramanarayan Reddy’s arguments were also reasonable and the party has to take their versions into consideration as well.

Raghurama Raju has cautioned CM Jagan to be wary of the developments taking place behind him within the party.
