PaperLeak: Who Is Prashanth Associated With?

The tenth standard paper examination leak episode has witnessed tense moments all throughout Wednesday. After arresting Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay, the police initiated investigation and a while back Warangal Commissioner of Police Ranganath held a press meet and disclosed more details.

The police accused Bandi Sanjay as A1 in this case while Boora Prashanth, a former journalist has been included as A2. But who is this Prashanth? The BRS leaders widely shared pictures of Prashanth with Bandi Sanjay on numerous occasions. Prashanth on his social media claimed that he worked for ABVP and took part in many initiatives.

However the BJP leaders hit back and shared pictures of Prashanth with MLA Vinay Bhaskar, minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and GHMC former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. The BJP leaders defended that when Prashanth worked as journalists, naturally he met our party leaders.

In the press meet Warangal CP Ranganath stated that Prashanth talked to 149 people in a span of two hours after sharing the Hindi language question paper on WhatsApp. The cops also retrieved data from Prashanth’s phone and found out that he spoke to Bandi Sanjay a day before the examination.

CP Ranganath also informed that Bandi Sanjay has hid his phone and the police are trying their best to seize it which the police believe that it has vital information regarding the paper leak.

Nonetheless the BJP alleged that this is a conspiracy of BRS and Telangana CM KCR to divert the main issue. On the other hand, the BJP legal team has filed habeas corpus in the Telangana High Court and also a bail petition.
