Telangana Finance minister Harish Rao’s comments on Andhra Pradesh affairs, erupted an unwanted verbal war between the BRS and YCP ministers. There was a strong response from YCP minister Sidiri Applaraju and he warned Harish Rao with some serious words.
Harish Rao received backing from BRS MLA Peddi Sudharshan Reddy and he added that nearly 30 lakh people from Andhra Pradesh migrated to Telangana. “Many welfare schemes are being implemented in Telangana and seeing the benefits, lakhs of people shifted their base to Telangana and this is a testimony of KCR’s leadership,” added Sudharshan Reddy.
Countering YCP ministers, the BRS MLA added that if AP ministers were so efficient with their work, Polavaram dam construction should have been completed by now. The livability circumstances are low for common man in Andhra Pradesh and they should seriously work on it,” added the MLA.
Well this issue is going nowhere and the dialogue war is likely to continue. The BRS and YCP maintained cordial relations till date and it looks like it might get worse in the coming days. But this is BRS strategy of making in-roads to Andhra politics. Its initial steps turn out to be a success yet there is a long way to go!
