Today around 3 PM, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy will be appearing before the CBI in connection with the brutal murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. This will be the fifth time Avinash Reddy will appear before the CBI and there are reports that he might get arrested. Reacting to them, Avinash Reddy added that he doesn’t know astrology to predict his arrest but he will fight for truth and justice.
“CBI is a premiere investigation agency but it is doing silly investigation. CBI claimed that Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy came to my home on the day Viveka was murdered but the fact is I know Uday from 2011 and he comes to my house frequently,” said Avinash. The Kadapa MP also rubbished the remand report prepared by the CBI.
“Viveka had changed his name in 2010 and he wanted to give all his properties and assets to his second wife. My sister Sunitha is against this and I still have no clue why she is targeting me. Maybe she wanted the Kadapa MP ticket and she might have joined hands with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who can fluence and manage probe agencies such as CBI. I suspect Chandrababu is the script writer behind this,” said Avinash Reddy.
When asked about reaching out to Sunitha and clearing out the family differences, Avinash Reddy added that she is a changed person. “We had maintained good contacts even after Viveka’s murder but suddenly she is a changed person now. I don’t know who influenced her and why she is behaving so. I urge YCP activists and people to not believe the propaganda of yellow media,” appealed Avinash Reddy.
