AP CM YS Jagan Reddy had made an important announcement regarding Vizag as the Executive Capital of the state. CM Jagan was at Srikakulam on Wednesday and he laid the foundation stone for Greenfield port at Moolapeta village of Santhabommali mandal.
“From September, I will be shifiting to Vizag with family and will begin the administration from here (September Nunchi Mee Bidda, Kaapuram Kuda Visakha lone Pedathadu),” was what CM Jagan said and he added that this was part of decentralization of administration and governance.
Earlier at the curtain raiser of Vizag Global Investors summit in New Delhi, Jagan announced that Vizag will be the Executive Capital of AP post Ugadi festival. But this deadline missed and now CM Jagan has set a new deadline of September.
Will CM Jagan stick to new deadline or is this any political stunt with general elections hardly a year away?
