A few days back reports came out that Telugu cricketer Ambati Rayudu will be stepping into politics after quitting cricket permanently. Rayudu categorically acknowledged the reports and buzz was that he is looking at the Telugu Desam despite having many contacts in YCP.
Well the buzz seems to be untrue because Rayudu indirectly passed out hints that he is inching towards YCP. In details, Rayudu showered full compliments on CM Jagan that everyone in Andhra has full faith in him.
Rayudu reacted to the video posted on Twitter by YSRCP’s handle. Today at Srikakulam, CM Jagan added that he is doing a lone battle against TDP, Jana Sena, Eenadu, ABN Andhra Jyothy and TV5. “My courage is you (referring to people) and I trust all of you,” said Jagan.
“Great speech ..our chief minister @ysjagan garu.. everyone in the state has complete belief and trust in you sir,” tweeted Rayudu as a quoted tweet to the video.
So it’s unofficial from Rayudu that he is going to support CM Jagan and YCP. The big question is, will he contest elections? If so, from where? Assembly or Lok Sabha? Rayudu might give us a clarity once the Indian Premier League concludes.
