The Friday-release movie Shaakuntala did not perform well in ticket sales, leaving actress Samantha feeling frustrated and discouraged. She posted a cryptic message across her social media platforms reflecting this. Now, it appears things have changed for the better; she has recently travelled to London. Yesterday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan joined forces on the red carpet in London for the global premiere of the Indian version of Citadel. Both stars walked the carpet, as well as enjoyed and celebrated the series together.

Even Akkineni fans’ hateful and extremely criticizing reaction didn’t stop the actress from making an amazing appearance at this event. It’s good to see that her career is still in great shape and she isn’t letting anything slow her down.
