Sunitha Levels Serious Allegations Against Jagan

The Telangana High Court issued orders granting protection to YCP MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy from arrest till April 25 in connection with the murder of his uncle and former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy. Aggrieved by this order, Viveka’s daughter Dr Sunitha moved the Supreme Court which faulted the Telangana High Court for the ‘atrocious’ order.

In the petition filed by Dr Sunita, she made some sensational remarks against her cousin and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy too.

She levelled serious allegations over her elder brother Jagan in the petition and these have become a hot topic of discussion in the public.

She reminded that on November 19, 2021, Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a clean chit to Avinash Reddy. In the Assembly, Jagan said: “Will one eye pierce another eye? Will my brother commit a crime?” In the petition, she said that these remarks raised suspicion over Avinash Reddy’s involvement in the crime.

She also mentioned that Jagan tried to shield Avinash Reddy after his name appeared besides that of Bhaskar Reddy and Sivasankar Reddy in the CBI chargesheet. All bigwigs in the government and the AP government machinery too tried to protect Avinash Reddy.

On November 19, 2021, when Sivasankar Reddy was produced before the CBI court in Pulivendula, Avinash Reddy reached the place and stayed with Sivasankar Reddy for nearly half-an-hour. Avinash also threatened the officials over arresting Sivasankar Reddy, she reminded.

Jagan’s cousin Dr Sunitha also brought the name of AP Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy into the scene. She said that Sajjala kept on supporting Avinash Reddy and Sivasankar Reddy and even made some baseless allegations against the CBI.

She also stated that a case was filed against a CBI official and that her doubts over involvement of some political bigwigs in the case were proving correct.

The suspected involvement of high-profile leaders and the details of Viveka’s murder case are raising anxiety among the public as it unravels before the court.
