A few days back noted journalist Rajdeep Sardesai stated that Telangana CM KCR is ready to take care of the expenses of 2024 general elections, if all the opposition parties announce him as the PM candidate. Then recently, expelled BRS leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also added that KCR has amassed huge wealth and will be spending the same for the Assembly elections scheduled later this year.
Freshly BJP MLA Etela Rajender stated that KCR gave Rs 25 crore to Congress party during the Munugode by-poll. As we know BRS and BJP went neck-to-neck during this election but political observers termed that it was one of the most expensive by-elections ever held in the country.
“To win the Munugode by-poll, KCR offered Rs 25 crore to the Congress party. Sooner or later, BRS and Congress will join hands and people of Telangana should be aware of the dramas of both the parties,” alleged Etela.
Advicing to look at Singareni Collieries and TSRTC, the BJP MLA further added that instead of Visakha steel plant, KCR’s government should think of reopening the Nizam sugar factory which would provide valuable employment to the locals.
Is the allegation of giving away Rs 25 crore to Congress true? Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy should respond to the allegation and clarify. BRS would tactically ignore this accusation but how much money does KCR and BRS have? Elections are approaching and KCR led BRS is ready to spend lavishly.
