Balineni’s Blow To Jagan & YCP!

YCP leader Balineni Srinivas Reddy has been upset with YCP leadership and CM Jagan after he was made to step down from the cabinet. To pacify Balineni, CM Jagan had appointed him as the YCP Regional Coordinator for Chittoor, Nellore and Tirupathi districts. Yet Balineni was not pleased with the role and responsibilities he was given. After a long thought process, he finally tendered his resignation.

What’s interesting is that Balineni is not reachable after he announced quitting the role of Regional Coordinator. From Balineni’s followers, we hear that he is in Hyderabad after he fell ill. But the fact is Balineni is in no mood to talk about current politics and wants time to think about his future in YCP.

During the second cabinet expansion, Balineni was not retained and reports came out that he might leave the YCP. CM Jagan and his advisor Sajjala were quick to send feelers to Balineni and appease him.

Things took a drastic change after this. Within YCP, the prominence of Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy is growing and CM Jagan doubts that Balineni is maintaining good contacts with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Though Balineni clarified his equations with Pawan, he expressed anger at the party for having doubts on him.

To his followers, Balineni vent out his pain that there is no future for him in YCP and there are high chances of him leaving the party. There is a huge buzz surrounding Balineni’s next political step but if he quits YCP, that’s going to be the beginning of a great migration.
