Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed her displeasure over not receiving an invitation for the inauguration of the new Telangana Secretariat, which took place on Sunday.
The governor’s office stated that they did not receive any invitation, resulting in her absence from the event. In response, Governor Tamilisai remarked that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is difficult to reach and is not easily accessible, even to world leaders who visit India.
Furthermore, the governor criticised KCR for his arrogance and ego, stating that leaders in constitutional positions should work according to the public’s desires rather than for their family’s interests. She stressed that communication is key and can resolve many issues. Governor Tamilisai’s comments were made at a private event in Hyderabad, where she was in attendance.
Governor Tamilisai and CM KCR have not been on speaking terms for the past three years, and the governor has frequently brought up their differences in front of the media. However, CM KCR has yet to respond to her comments or criticisms.
