K’taka Elections: Brahmanandam Campaigns!

The state of Karnataka is going for the Assembly elections and the campaign will come to an end this weekend. All the major parties are super busy with the campaign and are going to any extent to win the confidence of the people. Accordingly Karnataka health minister K Sudhakar has roped in Telugu comedian Brahmanandam for the election campaign.

On Thursday, Brahmanandam toured the constituency of minister Sudhakar, Chikkaballapura and urged the people to vote for Sudhakar. This constituency has the dominant vote bank of Telugu community and so the minister who shares good association with the Tollywood actor, asked him to campaign.

Obliging the request, Brahmanandam took part in the campaign. “I came all the way from Hyderabad to make an appeal to vote for Sudhakar sir. He is an honest man and he has done a lot of service for the people. Such leaders should be encouraged and so I need you all to vote and elect him,” said Brahmi.

Learning that Brahmanandam was in town, the local people flocked to see the comedy king. Does this mean Brahmi is entering politics? And is he going to associate with the BJP? Some say that Brahmanandam and minister Sudhakar are good friends and when the minister asked Brahmi to campaign, the Tollywood actor could not say NO.
