‘KCR Funded Congress In K’taka Polls’

A few days ago, Telangana BJP MLA Etela Rajender alleged that Telangana CM KCR bribed the Telangana Congress party during the Munugode by-poll. Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy condemned the allegations and added that his party is doing a sole fight against the BRS and the BJP is trying to tarnish the image of the Congress party.

Yet again similar allegations were made and this time it is Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay. Addressing a party’s internal meeting, Bandi Sanjay added that KCR funded the Congress party in the Karnataka elections whereas the BJP did not influence the voters with money.

“I don’t get the fact that Telangana Congress leaders are comparing Karnataka elections with Telangana state and nowhere the T-Congress is an alternative force in Telangana. The fact is that KCR has provided financial assistance to the Congress party during the elections,” said Bandi Sanjay.

The Karimnagar MP further added that BJP will contest the elections all alone in Telangana and will single-handedly form the next government in the state. He summoned the party leaders to be with people and learn their problems and agitate against the BRS government.

This is for the second time, the T-BJP leaders alleged a financial nexus between BRS and Congress. Though the Congress party is rejecting the allegations, there is no word from the BRS party side. Can we sense anything here?
