KCR Constructing Hi-Tech & Lavish BRS Bhavan In Kokapet

During last year’s plenary sessions of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), party chief KCR announced that the party possesses assets worth Rs 1000 crore. Subsequently, KCR transformed the TRS into the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), with the intention of venturing into national politics.

Following the conversion of TRS into BRS, KCR shifted his focus to other states. While some notable figures from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Gujarat have joined the BRS, there have been no significant political developments in these respective states. However, insiders within the BRS suggest that KCR has grand plans for the party, particularly in terms of training its leaders. To facilitate this, the BRS will be constructing a lavish party office (headquarters) in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this 15-floor building is scheduled for Monday, with Telangana Chief Minister KCR presiding over the event. The facility will be known as the Centre for Excellence and HRD of the BRS party and will feature modern amenities, including a vast digital library. Additionally, leaders from various states will receive extensive training on issues specific to their respective regions. KCR aims to equip these leaders with comprehensive knowledge and a fundamental understanding of the problems faced by the people.

Simultaneously, this headquarters will be a luxurious establishment. No other political party in the country has ever possessed such a massive office space. However, the question arises as to who is funding its construction. In closed-door conversations, KCR previously expressed his willingness to bear the expenses of the general elections if opposition parties come together on a common platform.

The upcoming 2024 elections are anticipated to witness a battle of political influence and financial power between the BRS and KCR.
