Watch: Naga Babu’s ‘Upma Story’ On ‘Upma CM’

Nagababu, the general secretary of the Janasena party, recently made noteworthy remarks regarding opposition alliances in the state. As reports circulated about multiple parties allying, Nagababu introduced the ‘Upma theory,’ which has since gone viral on social media. In a conversation with the party’s spokesperson Ajay, under the name Kathakali, Nagababu made these comments.

In a video, Nagababu illustrates a scenario in a hostel where most students dislike Upma as their daily breakfast. However, when a voting process is conducted to determine the breakfast choice, the student’s preferences result in Upma gaining the majority again.

Nagababu shared, “In this hostel with 100 students, Upma is served for breakfast every day. While 20 students have no issues with it, the remaining students grow bored of having the same meal repeatedly. Despite their complaints to the management, no changes have been made. Eventually, the management organizes a voting procedure, promising to finalize the breakfast option based on the majority’s choice. As expected, 20% of the students voted for Upma. 18 students opted for Masala Dosa; another 18 chose Aloo Paratha with Dahi, 14 preferred Roti & Sabji; 12 went for Bread & Dahi, 10 selected Idly Sambar; and 10 preferred Noodles. Surprisingly, Upma wins, and the management resumes serving it.”

Furthermore, Nagababu adds, “There is nothing wrong if the other students unite to remove the Upma. Likewise, it is essential to liberate the state from the oppressive rule of the Upma chief minister. If parties contest individually, the public’s votes will be divided, making defeating the Upma chief minister difficult. Therefore, for his removal, the parties must ally.”

It is evident that Nagababu is referring to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with his analogy.

Meanwhile, the Janasena party chief, Pawan Kalyan, has not clarified how his party will prepare for the upcoming elections.
