YCP Ministers Strong Reply To Babu Allegations

Ahead of the elections, the YCP is geared up to counter the allegations and charges by the opposition parties. In a quick and strong retort to the allegations by the TDP, ministers of various departments put up every detail of the work done by their officials and the YCP government in the war on social media.

Countering TDP supremo and former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu’s statements that the YCP government is a fake one in which ministers had never worked for the development of their departments and are involved in corrupt activities, the concerned ministers took to social media and are fuming at Naidu for launching fake propaganda against them.

Naidu criticized health minister Vidadala Rajini and tourism minister RK Roja that they had failed to secure at least one project for their departments. To this, Roja said that the public might not be aware that there was neither the tourism department nor a tourism minister during the TDP regime. “But under Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s regime, we are trying to create a tourism hub. As many as 117 MoUs worth Rs 22,096 crore were signed at the Global Investors Summit. At the same time, we are introducing new concepts like temple tourism. All heritage sites are being transformed into tourist spots,” she said.

Taking a swipe at minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Naidu said that a person who was involved in illegal mining is the mining minister. Naidu also charged minister Kottu Satyanarayana for misusing the funds of the endowments department and spending it on yagams to ensure that courts deliver verdicts in favour of their party boss and CM Jagan.

Industrial minister Guidvada Amarnath, whom the TDP satirically termed as an ‘Egg minister’, called Naidu as ‘Mosagadu Babu’. He claimed that under the leadership of Jagan, the YCP government had established 245 industrial parks, 31 MSME parks and 3 growth centres to develop industrial ecosystem. “But nobody knows where these centres and hubs are located,” pointed out the TDP leaders.

To Naidu’s charge that minister Narayana Swamy introduces different J-brands of liquor, the YCP reminded that it was the TDP which introduced the different brands and even allowed liquor to flow free in the state. Further, this led to deterioration of health and rise in crime rate during the TDP rule, the YCP said.

“But under the efficient leadership of Jagan, 43,000 belt shops, 40% of bars and liquor shops were removed. Minister K. Narayanaswamy said that they did not loot the people in the name of liquor.

Responding to Naidu’s criticism that the man who made farmers fools was the agriculture minister in the YCP rule, Karumuri Nageswara Rao said the public distribution system was completely ruined under the TDP rule. People had to stand in queues with no surety about when they would get their ration.

Under Jagan’s rule, we have revamped the system. Over 9,300 mini trucks were purchased to deliver ration at the doorstep of the beneficiaries. We had even taken measures to ensure MSP for the farmers,” he claimed.

The ministers have begun providing details of all the steps taken by the YCP government on social media, to ward off allegations by the opposition parties and prove that they are baseless.

It has to be seen what more information the TDP leaders would be able to get about various schemes and how they would react to the ministers’ responses to their allegations.
