KCR’s Indirect Jibe At Jagan Using Naidu

TDP leaders have been alleging that Amaravati was destroyed after YS Jagan became the CM of Andhra Pradesh. Defending their allegations, TDP leaders argue that during Chandrababu’s tenure, land prices have skyrocketed in Amaravati as well as in other parts of the state and the price of an acre of land has gone up at a huge rate. There is a talk that the real estate business in AP has been completely damaged since the minute Jagan took the reins as Chief Minister, that’s why many real estate traders are leaning towards Telangana.

It is against this backdrop that Telangana CM KCR recently made sensational comments on the difference in land prices between Andhra and Telangana states. Recollecting Chandrababu’s comments, KCR added that in undivided AP, people used to sell one acre in Andhra and buy at least five acres in Telangana but now the situation has changed and people are now selling one acre in Telangana to buy 10 acres in AP. KCR made these comments while performing Bhoomi Puja for the construction of a 200-bed super specialty hospital at a cost of 143 crore in Patancheruvu.

KCR said that the prices of land in Telangana have increased tremendously over the years and the real estate business has gained a lot of momentum. KCR believes that all this is possible with good governance and overall development in the state led by his BRS government. He has promised that if his party wins the upcoming elections, the metro will be extended all the way to Sangareddy. He sanctioned Rs 30 crore will be given to each municipality of Sangareddy district and Rs 10 crore to each division.

The context of KCR’s remarks have turned up a debate on social media. Some say that he indirectly criticized AP CM YS Jagan’s YCP government by mentioning AP opposition leader Chandrababu’s comments.
