Rayalaseema Big Shot Joins YCP

Ahead of the Assembly elections, the director of the biggest conglomerate of educational institutions in Rayalaseema Dr M. Santhi Nayudu has entered into politics. He joined the ruling YCP.

He joined the party in the presence of YCP president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Tadepalli. His son Sivaram also joined the party.

Santhiram’s educational institutions include medical, engineering and several other colleges functioning in Nandyal. Recently, he even established the Santhiram Hospital, which is the biggest teaching hospital in Rayalaseema.

In the last few days, there was buzz that Santhi Nayudu would foray into politics and he made it a reality.

Nandyal Lok Sabha member Pocha Brahmananda Reddy, Jammalamadugu MLC Ponnapureddy Ramasubba Reddy, the MLAs of Nandyal and Panyam Silpa Ravichandra Reddy and Katasani Rambhupal Reddy and several other YCP leaders were present when Santhi Nayudu joined the YCP.

Speaking on the occasion, Pocha Brahmananda Reddy said that Santhi Nayudu was joining the YCP witnessing the large-scale development under the YCP regime. Several other leaders from other political parties would also come into the YCP fold ahead of the general elections, he added.
