Ousting Bandi, An Advantage For KCR!

Any change in the internal matters of a political party will reflect on its opposition parties. This impact may be negative or positive but for BRS and Telangana CM KCR, its advantage. The reason being the change of guard in Telangana BJP. The national high command of BJP replaced Bandi Sanjay with Union Minister Kishan Reddy and this will work in favour of BRS and KCR.

As T-BJP chief, Bandi Sanjay gave sleepless nights to the KCR led BRS government. From Dubbak to Munugode by-election, BJP gained immensely under Bandi Sanjay’s leadership. He mercilessly attacked KCR and many a times dragged Kalvakuntla family and alleged of huge corruption. The language used by Bandi Sanjay against KCR and Kalvakuntla family was also harsh. On many occasions, Bandi Sanjay even breached all barriers and that’s what earned him a huge following all over Telangana. With Praja Sangrama Yatra, he reached out to the public and enhanced his charisma.

Now Bandi is out and walks in Kishan Reddy. He is completely opposite of Bandi Sanjay. When it comes to attacking KCR and BRS government, Kishan Reddy comes up with details but he cannot counter like Bandi Sanjay. There is an impression that Kishan Reddy is a soft spoken person and doesn’t have a mass appeal like Bandi. These are minus factors in Kishan Reddy opine the cadre of the T-BJP.

With Assembly elections months away, if Kishan Reddy doesn’t pick up in attacking opposition especially KCR, there will be no impact of BJP in Telangana. This change of leadership in T-BJP is a bit of happy news for KCR and BRS and a section of the party is happy too. Nevertheless Kishan Reddy has a huge opportunity before him to prove his leadership skills.
