Pawan Kalyan’s allegations against grama volunteers have become a huge sensation in Andhra Pradesh politics. The remarks of Pawan have gone viral in no time.

While volunteers across the state took to protests, AP Women Commission served notices to Pawan over his comments. YSRCP leaders have targeted Pawan. Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy washed the feet of volunteers and honoured them.

Amidst all this, one reaction and response is the most awaited. Ruling party leaders too demanded Opposition leader and former CM Chandrababu Naidu’s reaction. Naidu has finally responded to the whole issue.

During a media interaction, media quizzed Naidu over his response on Pawan’s allegations against volunteers. Naidu said, “Volunteers should not collect or share the private information of people. This is a clear violation against the fundamental principles which gives utmost importance to the Right to Privacy. Volunteers or any other working for the government should be limited only to the public service. They should not get involved in politics. Gathering personal information without one’s knowledge is a big threat.”

Naidu stressed that if TDP comes to power, the volunteers would be restricted to do only public service.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu came down heavily on AP CM Jagan and his administration. Naidu said Amaravati, the people’s capital, was killed by CM Jagan. He said the state and the people are paying heavy price for one man’s stupidity. Naidu said the state lost crores of investments due to lack of vision and failure of CM Jagan.
