Vijayasai Reddy
YSRCP has reinstated Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy as the regional coordinator for the party’s Nellore, Chittoor, and Kadapa districts. Previously, former minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy handled the affairs of Ongole district, but following a protocol controversy during CM Jagan’s tour, the YCP high command made changes.
Balineni was once again replaced, and YCP appointed Rajya Sabha MP Beeda Mastan Rao and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy as regional coordinators. However, these recent appointments faced internal turbulence within the party’s leadership, resulting in the removal of Mastan Rao and Bhumana from their roles.
Amidst these developments, Vijayasai Reddy, who had previously served as the UttarAndhra regional coordinator, has been brought back into the fold, considering his past experience.
Although his previous tenure as UttarAndhra coordinator garnered criticism for his style of work, the YCP continued to retain him for undisclosed reasons. Subsequently, he was assigned responsibilities in the national capital a few months ago, leading to speculation about a growing distance between him and CM Jagan.
Contrary to those rumors, CM Jagan, as the chief of YCP, decided to reinstate Vijayasai Reddy and make use of his services once again. With a track record that speaks for itself, the party hopes that Vijayasai Reddy’s return will help address any existing challenges and strengthen their position in the respective districts.
