Can She Defeat Seethakka?

Congress MLA Seethakka is a force to reckon with. In her constituency, Mulugu, MLA Seethakka has no opposition because of her service to the public. She is always available for the public anytime and when there is a crisis situation in Mulugu, she lands there in no time. That way Seethakka earned immense popularity among the people.

Simultaneously Seethakka’s growth has given nightmares for the BRS party. This time the BRS leadership was hell bent to defeat Seethakka in Mulugu and accordingly the party looked for a suitable face even though seniors like Chandulal were available. After long contemplation, BRS has finalized the name of Bade Naga Jyothi.

As soon as KCR revealed the list of BRS candidates for the Assembly polls, the name of Bade Naga Jyothi attracted a lot of attention. When dug deep, it is learned that Naga Jyothi is the Zilla Parishad chairperson of Mulugu and she is just 29 years old.

Naga Jyothi is the daughter of slain Naxalite Bade Nageshwar Rao alias Prabhakar and her education qualifications include M.Sc (Botany) and B.Ed from Kakatiya University (KU). And about her political journey, she contested and won the Sarpanch post in 2019. Later, she joined the BRS and won the ZPTC election from Tadwai Mandal.

Upon receiving the MLA ticket, Naga Jyothi turned emotional. She thanked BRS chief KCR and added that she would express her gratitude to KCR with a victory in the Assembly polls.

Can Naga Jyothi defeat Seethakka? It is going to be one hell of a contest without any doubt.
