YCP Decodes Naidu’s Code Language: 1 Ton = 1 Cr

Following the notice served to TDP boss and former CM N. Chandrababu Naidu by the Income Tax department over alleged irregularities worth Rs 118-crore during construction works at Amarvati, the YCP leaders alleged that Naidu and his henchmen swindled over Rs 8,000 crore using coded language just like arms brokers and drug smugglers.

The capital construction work tenders were given to Shapporji & Pallonji and L&T in Amaravati. The YCP leaders alleged that Naidu received Rs 118 crore as kickbacks from those construction companies through his PA Pendyala Srinivas.

However, the entire transactions were done through coded language to avoid trouble in the future, the YCP men said.

The kickbacks were sent to different shell companies based in different cities and the construction companies used code language for different places. For Hyderabad, they used Hyd and for Vijayawada, they used the word Vijay, for Visakhapatnam, they called it Vish while Bengaluru was termed Bang.

Nowhere in the conversation, the word ‘cash’ was used. Instead, they mentioned ‘steel’ and ‘crores’ was indicated by ‘tonnes’, the YCP men alleged.

The IT department seized excel sheets which mentioned about the money transactions and conversation between Naidu and Manoj Vasudev Parthasany, who worked as the consultant for the contract companies.

It is worth mentioning that both Naidu and the TDP had been maintaining a stoic silence since the IT notices issue came into the public.

Meanwhile, the YCP leaders alleged that Naidu had been trying to evade getting into trouble by showing his highhandedness to the IT officials. The YCP men said that Naidu told the Hyderabad Central IT Circle officials that they did not have the right to serve notices to him.

Reportedly, Naidu said that the notices were served to him without any case involving him being transferred to the Central Circle.

Further, he even had done correspondence with the authorities on October 10, 22, January 31, 2023 and June 20 this year, the YCP men reminded.

When the IT officials replied that they knew their limits and rights, unable to confront them, Naidu flew to Delhi, the YCP leaders alleged.

However, the TDP leaders rubbished the entire issue last evening saying that it was just an election stunt., aimed at tarnishing the image of their party boss. “Could they find any irregularity in the Amaravati land scam,” they asked.
