Chandrababu Naidu has been arrested by CID officials in Vijayawada in connection with the Skill Development Corporation scam. Authorities from the Amaravati CID office have taken him into custody.
Chandrababu is expected to make an appearance before the ACB court in Vijayawada soon. In a surprising turn of events, the TDP has prepared for legal battles. Will Chandrababu go to jail? Will the court grant him bail? These questions will be answered shortly.
However, senior lawyer Siddharth Luthra, who recently represented him in the Amaravati cases, has stated that he is prepared to defend the TDP. He arrived in Vijayawada on a special flight. Notably, he also served as a solicitor general for the central government and appeared in the Supreme Court regarding the Amaravati cases. Siddharth Luthra is currently handling all the cases related to Chandrababu.
In the matter of Chandrababu’s arrest, the AP CID has been hearing arguments presented by Advocate General Sudhakar Reddy. Sudhakar Reddy has been resolute in his arguments against the YCP. When he was in the opposition, he argued in numerous cases against the ruling party.
