Ambati says ‘Vaarahi Flop’, Janasainiks Shows Pics

Minister Ambati Rambabu termed Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan’s the 4th phase of Vaarahi Yatra an utter flop. Pawan held a public meeting in Avanigadda only to garner the votes of the Kapu community in the constituency but the people showed their resentment to the JSP-TDP alliance by staying away from it, Ambati said.

Following these comments, the JS leaders released numerous pictures on social media, which showed a large number of people attending the public meeting.

TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan felt that their alliance would evoke huge response from the electorate. Political analysts too waited to see the response to Pawan’s first public meeting after the formal announcement of an alliance between the JSP and TDP but the poor response shattered the spirits of the JSP chief, Ambati said. His body language clearly showed that Pawan is disappointed over the turnout at the public meeting, he added.

Further, Ambati also alleged that Pawan Kalyan and his brother Nagababu reached the venue much ahead of the schedule but had to wait for 3-4 hours for a huge crowd to gather at the place. TDP scion N. Lokesh and Andhra Pradesh president Atchannaidu called upon the TDP cadre to attend Pawan’s public meeting in huge numbers but there was none to hear to the JSP chief, he said.

The YCP had silenced the voice of TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son N. Lokesh by lodging the former in the prison and foisting cases against the latter but putting Pawan to silence is proving to be a daunting task for the government, pointed out TDP leaders.

The announcement of TDP-JSP coalition is already causing jitters to the YCP and it is for the same reason, the YCP leaders want to demoralise Pawan, the lone warrior of the coalition, through some critical remarks and adverse comments, said political observers.

Ambati also tried to infuse some reasoning into the huge turnout to Pawan’s public meetings saying that they were strategically planned in areas where the Kapu community, to which Pawan also belongs, population is dense. Countering this remark, the JSP leaders said that their leader has a charisma which cannot be beaten by his detractors. Moreover, he is known as a leader with a generous heart, committed to serve the public without any blot of corruption on his sleeve, they pointed out.

It has to be seen how the JSP and YCP will counter each other in the coming days.
