‘BJP Was Not Behind The Arrest’, Says Purandeswari With Lokesh’s Pic

Nara Lokesh met Amit Shah yesterday and explained to Amit Shah about the situation in AP state and Chandrababu’s arrest. Lokesh tweeted a picture of his meeting with Amit Shah where he was accompanied by the state BJP leaders Purandeswari and Kishan Reddy.

Nara Lokesh wrote, ‘Met with the Hon’ble Union Home Minister @AmitShah
Ji and apprised him of the blatant misuse of state machinery by YSRCP Govt in Andhra Pradesh, the regime revenge against Hon’ble @ncbn Garu, and the appalling condition in which he has been lodged in prison where his life is under threat.’

The TDP cadre says that Lokesh also discussed the alleged political vengeance against him with the Inner Ring road alignment case and how the AP government is trying to trouble his mother Bhuvaneswari and wife Brahmani. Amit Shah reportedly inquired about the cases against Chandrababu and also about the health of the TDP chief. Amit Shah reportedly said that he had been observing the situation in AP but it is still not known what assurances he gave to Nara Lokesh regarding the ongoing issues.

Amid this, Purandeswari also mentioned Nara Lokesh meeting Amit Shah and took the opportunity to rubbish the question if BJP was behind the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. Ourabdeswari tweeted, ‘Lokesh elaborately explained to Amit Shah ji about the vindictiveness of the state government and leaders at the helm of affairs. Now those who blame the Centre need to reply as to why Amit Shah ji would give an appointment to Lokesh if the BJP was behind the arrest!’
