The Telangana Congress High Command recently released its second list of candidates, and many leaders expecting the party tickets were disappointed. The party demonstrated its commitment to providing opportunities to leaders from the BC Community. But, among the 45 names in the second list, actor Nithiin’s uncle Nagesh Reddy’s name went missing.
Tollywood star Nitin’s uncle, Nagesh Reddy, commented remarkably on the second list of Congress candidates. He expected a ticket from the Nizamabad rural segment, but despite having high expectations, the Congress high command allocated the Nizamabad Rural segment to former MLC Bhupathi Reddy.
After witnessing the reality the party declined him the ticket, he lamented the lack of recognition and growth within the party during this time. He also noted that tickets appear to have been allotted based on lobbying efforts and to all those who joined the party only recently. Nagesh Reddy further revealed that he had the support of his nephew, Nithiin, who was willing to endorse his candidacy if he received a ticket. Regardless of the outcome, Nagesh Reddy stated his commitment to remaining in Congress.
In addition, it is anticipated that 19 more candidates will secure tickets in the third list.
