Revanth Reddy, who took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana, has dived into action mode.
After expressing his intention to get closer to the people as he was elected by them ordering for breaking of the iron barricades at the Chief Minister’s office (Pragathi Bhavan) and naming it Amebdkar Praja Bhavan, he immediately allocated the portfolios for all the 12 ministers who took oath along with him this afternoon.
With many contenders for the CM Post, the Congress high command tried to pacify them giving something suitable to their desire. After prolonged deliberations and brainstorming, the Congress leadership could finally keep the flock together allocating portfolios they deserved, without any leaders sulking in the public.
Let us take a look at who got what in Revanth’s Cabinet.
Party senior leader N. Uttam Kumar Reddy gets Home while Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was given municipal administration. Sridhar Babu was handed over finance department and firebrand Konda Surekha was allocated women’s welfare.
Apart from being made the Deputy Chief Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also was given the revenue portfolio. Damodar Rajanarasimha gets Medical and Health, Jupally Krishna Rao public distribution department and former Naxalite Seethakka tribal welfare. Tummala Nageswara Rao gets Roads and Buildings and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy irrigation department.
