Former Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, has been discharged from Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad following a successful left hip replacement surgery. The procedure was necessitated by a fracture sustained during a fall at his Erravalli farmhouse on December 7.
A video released on Friday captured KCR leaving the hospital, signifying a positive step in his recovery. The medical team has reported the surgery’s success, citing Rao’s stable condition, relief from pain, and comfortable rest. Ongoing monitoring indicates a recovery period of six to eight weeks, as stated by Yashoda Hospital.
Notable leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, have conveyed their concerns and extended wishes for a swift recovery. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Minister Seethakka and former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir, visited Rao at Yashoda Hospital on Sunday, with Reddy directing officials to provide the necessary assistance and cooperation for KCR’s treatment.
