KCR’s Security Reduced From Z+ To ‘Y’

Ex-chief minister of Telangana is likely to be discharged from Yashoda Hospital today. In related news, the Telangana government has cut down the security of KCR. The BRS supremo will no longer have the Z+ security that he had while he was Telangana CM.

KCR’s security was reduced from the Z+ to Y category. He is given 4+4 gunmen security personnel along with one solitary escort vehicle. He will have a century at his house for an additional layer of security. He will no longer have a central security fleet at his disposal.

But the ex-CM should have been mentally prepared for it as he knows how things work once there is a change in government. Any ex-CM who doesn’t have an established security threat will have to take a cut in government-funded security and this is what is happening with KCR.

Ex-MLAs and ex-ministers will not be getting any gunmen from the government. The government has also removed gunmen for the corporation chairmen. Ex-ministers who are currently MLAs will be given 2+2 security.

Akbaruddin and Raja Singh who had been having elevated security for political reasons will continue to have the same degree of security now.
