BJP’s Meme Confirms It Won’t Ally With TDP?

Andhra Pradesh politics are heating up with every passing day in the wake of the elections which are fast approaching. On one side, there is YCP, which is confirmed to go alone in the election and on the other hand, TDP and Janasena are setting the stage for their alliance. BJP, on the flip side, is left stranded.

Of late, political observers are murmuring that there is a chance that BJP might partner with the TDP-JanaSena alliance in AP instead of going alone, considering they don’t have too many mention-worthy candidates to contest in all constituencies on their own. But AP BJP wing has shared a meme on social media, which primarily confirms that they are not allying with TDP in AP.

BJP AP Twitter handle has shared a cartoon of TDP, Congress, and YCP in a collective meme. They captioned the meme “These three parties share the same spirit and are under one umbrella only. But they trick people into thinking that they fight separately. This is a desperate attempt to woo the people and it is failing”.

BJP has selectively excluded JSP in this meme, implying that the party is still in good terms with Pawan Kalyan’s party. But they have taken a dig at TDP by saying this party is in truce with YCP and Congress.

Had the BJP had any inclination towards TDP and was considering the alliance with the party, they wouldn’t have targeted the party with such a provocative meme. But still, there are three months before the polls so it has to be seen how BJP will decide to go forward. Will they decide to go alone or will they partner with TDP and JSP which are decisively moving in coordination with each other? Anything can happen.
