The much-awaited New Year is around the corner and it is one of the most celebrated events by all sections of the public, and more so, in metro cities like Hyderabad. In view of the New Year celebrations, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, Srinivas Reddy has issued new orders.
All the pubs and event managers should take permission to hold New Year celebration events 10 days prior to the event. The parties where liquor is permitted should not admit any minors in any case. Every pub and celebratory venue should have CC cameras installed without fail.
The CP made it clear that there should be no nudity and adulterated dance programs at the events. The sound of the music should not cross 45 decibels. No additional passes beyond the capacity should be issued.
Parking arrangements should be made prior to the event. The venues should have enough security personnel in place. The police will keep a close eye on the drugs’ circulation in order to prevent this.
