Revanth Reddy Reveals, Ex CM KCR Bought 22 Land Cruisers

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy today interacted with the media. He took potshots at the former CM KCR. When answering one of the media questions, Revanth Reddy made a shocking revelation. He stated that the ex-chief minister had purchased 22 expensive land cruiser cars and hid them in Vijayawada. Revanth Reddy said KCR had taken the public money for granted and had assumed that he would return to power.

Revanth expressed shock that he was kept in the dark even after occupying the CM office. He said one of the officials divulged him this secretly 10 days after he took over the mantle. Revanth said that each car cost over Rs 3 crore as bullet-proofing should be done for every car. He asked why the former CM had splurged and caused huge loss to the public exchequer.

In response to another question, CM Revanth Reddy said both KTR and Harish Rao had operated hand-in-glove and caused a loss to the people’s revenue. Revanth criticised the way the Rythu Bandhu was credited in the last year.

Commenting on Telangana’s financial situation, CM Revanth Reddy said, “We had thought there were cash bags, but we realised we are left with the empty boxes.” He added that there lies a huge responsibility on him and the new government to fix this and bring back the Telangana state on track. Overall, Revanth’s comments are expected to create a political storm in the state. BRS leaders KTR and Harish Rao are yet to respond to CM Revanth’s remarks.
