Former cricketer Ambati Rayudu joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) on Thursday.
Ambati Rayudu joined the YSRCP party in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan. Deputy CM Narayana Swamy and MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy were present during the official joining of Ambati Rayudu.
Rayudu retired from cricket in 2023 after the IPL. Ambati Rayudu announced his decision to join politics in June.
Ambati Rayudu earlier said he would soon join politics to understand people’s pulse and problems and come out with a proper action plan on how to go into politics.
