TDP chief Chandrababu toured Karnataka and met the TDP cadre in Bengaluru today. Chandrababu Naidu returned to Kuppam after his Karnataka tour. On his way to Kuppam Chandrababu went to Bengaluru airport and bumped into Karnataka Congress leader, Deputy CM DK Siva Kumar.
Amid the belief that TDP has no ties with the Congress party, Chandrababu meeting DK Siva Kumar gained prominence. The two senior leaders meeting and having a conversation caught the spotlight. Chandrababu and DK Siva Kumar had a brief yet private conversation on the airport runway.
During the elections of 2018 in Telangana, Congress and TDP worked together and DK Siva Kumar campaigned in the state and he was not seen with Chandrababu anywhere. Now that DK bumped into Chandrababu and they both having a discussion triggered a political curiosity among all.
With Congress winning in Telangana and looking to become stronger in Andhra Pradesh, this impromptu meeting of Chandrababu and DK Sivakumar raised possibilities for an alliance. Only time will tell if their private talk is just out of plain coincidence with pleasantries or if it is has a big political announcement coming soon.
Many Janasena supporters were wondering if this meet will have any impact on the announced alliance of TDP and Janasena in AP.
