There have been rumours that CM and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to replace about 70 sitting MLAs. It is buzzed that based on surveys, performances of the candidates and the feedback of people, CM Jagan is taking steps to replace the candidates.
However, as per strong sources it is learnt that the figure is 40 but not 70. Only 40 MLA candidates would be changed. As per sources, it is confirmed that minister Roja will not be contesting from Nagari Assembly constituency. And several other well-known personalities will also be replaced. CM Jagan is personally talking to the sitting MLAs and trying to convince them over this major change.
Meanwhile, the opposition TDP is confident that this situation in the ruling party would turn into its advantage. TDP and Janasena have forged an electoral alliance and are going to take on the ruling YSRCP.
