Additionally, PM Modi interacted with residents of Agatti, Bangaram, and Kavaratti, expressing gratitude for their hospitality. He described his journey to Lakshadweep as an enriching experience of learning and growth.
PM Modi highlighted Lakshadweep’s significance as more than just a group of islands, emphasizing its timeless legacy of traditions and the resilient spirit of its people. The central government’s focus in Lakshadweep aims at uplifting lives through enhanced development, improved healthcare, faster internet and drinking water access, all while preserving and celebrating the vibrant local culture.
