Sharmila At YSR Ghat: Ignores Jagan Talk

The Congress party is looking up to Sharmila to bring back the good old glory days for the party in Andhra Pradesh. Sharmila too is looking forward to this challenge as she is taking charge as AP Congress chief on Sunday. On an expected note, she went to the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya today to mark the start of her fresh political stint in AP.

AP Congress seniors Raghuveera Reddy and KVP Rama Chandra Rao were beside Sharmila on her trip to the YSR Ghat.

After offering prayers, Sharmila spoke to the media and said he aim is to bring back secularism in India through Congress. She says her political journey will go on till Rahul Gandhi becomes the prime minister of the country. She mentioned that Congress will get back to its best form in AP soon.

Amid all the expectations surrounding Sharmila’s speech before taking charge as APCC president, she didn’t even speak a single word about Jagan. Neither did she criticize the YS Jagan government’s administration in the last 5 years, nor did she challenge to trouble and bring down Jagan’s government. Her speech revolved solely around Congress. Maybe she felt there is more time to take on Jagan as AP polls are still over two months away.
