Two-time MP from Guntur, and one of the well-educated politicians from Andhra Pradesh, Galla Jaydev has announced his departure from politics momentarily. He held a farewell meeting in Guntur today to announce his decision to quit politics momentarily in the wake of the tough conditions that have been set in motion by the YCP government in AP and the BJP-led central government.
“The tough situations that are created by the AP government and the central government are hard to sustain politically. I can’t remain silent forever seeing this oppression. I will come back soon and with double the intensity, like how Shri Ram came back after the Vanavasam. On a personal note, my father returned from business operations two months ago and I have to look after that position as well. So I have decided to focus on my business prospects” Galla said.
Galla said he will continue to support the economic engine of India through the Galla Business Group and provide direct employment to nearly 25,000 employees in the near future.
The two-time MP revealed that the Enforcement Directorate came after him and investigated him twice after questioning the central government for the sake of AP’s needs. He suspected that the ED action is a result of him presenting the no-confidence motion in the parliament. He further suspected that the ED and CBI are continuing to tap his mobile phones. He promises to resume his political career sometime in the future.
