BRS MP Venkatesh Netha quit the party two days back and joined Congress in the presence of Revanth Reddy. He has now made a very serious allegation to his old party.
The ex-BRS MP said he was distraught after knowing that BRS was secretly in a truce with the BJP. He remarked that BRS was working under BJP’s command and he couldn’t take being an MP.
‘BRS was working in the interests of BJP. I couldn’t take it when the party that ruined the AP bifurcation norms and damaged Telangana’s rightful gains was instructing BRS. So, I decided to end my journey with BRS and join Congress instead.’
In recent weeks, the Congress party has been claiming that BRS is working along with BJP in Telangana. But now, ex-MP of BRS himself has claimed that his old party is in a truce with BJP so this could spur a more heated discussion in Telangana political space.
