‘Family Tickets’ Pressure on Babu!

Published by

Chandrababu Naidu has delivered a significant blow to certain senior leaders ahead of the upcoming elections by announcing a new policy: only one ticket per family for super senior leaders. This decision has stirred intense lobbying among the families of prominent figures such as Chintakayala, JC, Paritala, Kotla, KE, and Pusapati, who are vying for multiple tickets.

As the number of seats TDP will contest in alliance with Jana Sena diminishes, and with the potential addition of BJP into the mix, the available seats for TDP further shrink.

Acknowledging the discontent that may arise if multiple tickets are granted to families of senior leaders, Chandrababu Naidu has taken a preventive measure by restricting the allocation to only one ticket per family. This has prompted fervent requests from various family members for coveted positions.

For instance, Chintakayala Ayyannapatudu and his son Vijay are seeking tickets for different constituencies. Paritala Sunitha and her son Sriram have their eyes set on specific seats as well. Similarly, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, KE Pratap or KE Prabhakar, KE Shyambabu, and Pusapati Ashok Gajapathiraju and his daughter Aditi are all pressing for tickets in their respective constituencies.

Recognizing the potential dissatisfaction among other leaders if multiple tickets are granted to these families, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated the one-ticket-per-family policy in a recent meeting. However, the allocation of the remaining seats to other senior leaders or to the alliance partners like Jana Sena and BJP remains uncertain. The final decisions are eagerly awaited.
